Hi, I’m Sarah, I'm a PreKure Certified Metabolic Nutrition and Diabetes Coach.
Wife to Matt and mum to 3 gorgeous girls. I'm passionate about helping people regain their health, lose weight, reverse Type 2 Diabetes and other health issues through nutrition and lifestyle.
Using the low carb/ketogenic lifestyle, I will teach you to nourish your body, repair your relationship with food and build healthy sustainable habits so you can put your health back on track and avoid chronic disease.
I’ve lived most of my life in East Auckland. I studied 22 years ago after leaving school to become a Beauty Therapist. I have absolutely loved helping my clients feel good about themselves and to be confident in the skin they are in.
It truly has been a rewarding career.
I had the privilege of working on luxury cruise liners and traveled the world for 6 years. After returning home I met my husband and started a family.
Following my return to work after having 3 children my passion for beauty therapy wasn’t quite the same, so I searched my heart for the answer. I wanted to go deeper than helping women on a superficial level.
I’ve always had a passion for nutrition and health, and I noticed the people around me struggling with their health. So many were on medication for something, which seemed to be normal in modern society. Medication was prescribed to mask the problem instead of treating the underlying cause. I watched as our nation has become sicker from disease with more and more obesity and type 2 diabetes, people following the world dietary guidelines whilst still seeing their health deteriorate!
I love helping people, so I decided to study at PreKure to become a Certified Health Coach. PreKure is a social enterprise that exists to inspire the medical profession to become more focused on disease prevention rather than simply treating the symptoms. I have also studied nutritional science, and my passion and vision are to help people find their way to a healthy fulfilled life by providing the tools and advice to improve health. I believe prevention is better than cure and I’m on a mission to help you with making changes and creating healthy habits that are sustainable. To do this, I will provide up to date science backed nutrition and health advice.
